Cause:A table or view name was specified with a period (.) or identified with an invalid prefix.
Action:Check that the object is identified correctly and if necessary remove the period from the name.

Rename table problem

Hello Is it possible for one user to rename a table in another user 's schema Oracle 8.1.7? I kept getting ORA-01765 specifying table 's owner name is not allowed Are there any workarounds?
